Our hotel puts you within walking distance of "Albertopolis" — the cultural quarter Prince Albert planned. Here is what is happening nearby right now:

1. The Museums (5–7 mins walk)

Natural History Museum: The blue whale skeleton Hope is the free landmark. Ticketed now: Jurassic Oceans: Monsters of the Deep (until 3 January 2027) and Our Story with David Attenborough (ends August 2026). Wildlife Photographer of the Year 62 opens 16 October 2026.
Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A): Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art runs until 8 November 2026; Rising Voices until 10 January 2027. Marie Antoinette Style closed on 22 March 2026.
Science Museum: The new free Space gallery is open. Wonderlab is the ticketed family gallery. Future of Food is free until 1 September 2026.

2. The Royal Albert Hall (10–12 mins walk)

The BBC Proms run through Saturday 12 September 2026 (Last Night: Yuja Wang and Nicky Spence). After that, use the Hall's calendar. Daytime tours run year-round. Cirque du Soleil OVO ended in March 2026.

3. Kensington Palace & Gardens (15 mins walk)

Still a working royal home. The Queen's State Apartments are closed until spring 2027; the King's State Apartments, Jewel Room and The Last Princesses of Punjab (until 8 November 2026) are open. From 19 November, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is a 30–35 minute walk to Green Gate.

Shopping & Dining

For luxury lovers, the world-famous Harrods in Knightsbridge is a pleasant 15-20 minute stroll (or a quick bus ride) away.
